To be involved you need to secure your place for your child for the coming season by registering by 31 August 2023.
If you register by 31 August 2023 we can guarantee you a place in a team, and we will do our best to place your child with at least one friend.
Please also talk to any friends who may also be interested in cricket this summer, forward them this email and get them to register as well.
For players in Year 3 and above it is most important you register before 31 August 2023. Late registrations for these older players may have to wait until a vacancy occurs (with no guarantee of playing with friends), placed into a new team or put onto a waiting list.
HOW TO REGISTER
Registration will look different this year as Cricket Australia has moved to PlayHQ for online registrations. This means that if your child already plays AFL, basketball or netball you can use your existing login. Otherwise you’ll need to sign up to PlayHQ as you register for cricket.
Please click here to register online. Select Woolworths Cricket Blast for kids in Pre-Primary – Year 2 and Junior Club Cricket for kids in Year 3 – Year 11 (or Year 12 for Girls). Then click on Register to be directed to PlayHQ. Please follow the prompts.
If you have any problems with registering, please do not hesitate to contact email@example.com
WHICH COMPETITION WILL MY CHILD BE PLAYING IN DURING THE 2023/24 SEASON?
Your child plays in the grade detailed below tables (Boys & Girls Cricket) depending on the school year your child is in as of the 1st July 2023.
It is normal for all teams to contain players whose abilities vary greatly as players develop at different rates.
Girls: We plan to have dedicated girls teams for girls in Year 3 to Year 12.
Girls may also play with boys in all other grades listed below, and may spend up to 2 years longer in each age group if desired (e.g. Under 13 girls may play in the Under 11 boys competition)
